1 Personal Information Collected

1.1 We collect information:

1.1.1 When you register an account to become a 16Brands user (“User”), such as your name, e-mail, employer, country, and a password.

1.1.2 When you view and interact with 16Brands pages, features, and functionality, including 16Brands mobile applications, software (like adding to your profile, uploading contacts, liking with friends, following brands etc.), and platform technology (like “Share on 16Brands” buttons or third party applications). We also collect your IP address, browser type, operating system, mobile carrier, and your ISP, and receive the URLs of sites from which you arrive or leave the 16Brands website, or sites that have embedded 16Brands platform technology.

2 Uses of personal information

2.1 We use the information you provide to:

2.1.1 Enable you to share your information and communicate with other Users, or provide your personal details to third parties offering combined services with 16Brands;

2.1.2 Administer your account with us and customise the service we provide to you and other Users; and to

2.1.3 Send you service or promotional communications through email and notices on the 16Brands website. You can control your messaging preferences by logging into your account, and clicking on the account > notifications menu.

2.1.4 Create and distribute advertising relevant to your or your network’s 16Brands experience. If you share your interactions on 16Brands, for example, when you recommend a product, follow a brand, establish or update your profile, etc., 16Brands may use these actions to create social ads for your network on 16Brands using your profile photo and name.

2.2 We do not sell, rent, or otherwise provide personally identifiable information to third parties without your consent except where it is necessary to carry out your instructions (to process your payment information, for example) or as described in this Privacy Policy. We also provide you with the means to control whether or not your contact information is viewable to other users through your profile. 

2.3 Please note that in order to fulfill your requests for paid services we share your payment information with our payment processor.

3 Use of cookies
